Roma youngster Marco Motta is confident that his side can win the Serie A title this season.
 

Claudio Ranieri's men closed the gap from leaders Inter Milan to within five points following their 1-0 win over Catania at the weekend.
 

With confidence sky-high In Rome, Roma players are starting to believe that they have what it takes to win the title.
 

Speaking to Forzaroma.info., Motta said: "After having lost against the Greeks [Panathinaikos in the Europa League] we really needed the three points to maintain the pace with the league leaders [Inter]," Motta told Forzaroma.info.
 

"We need to take points away from Inter as the lead is now five points and the league poses many challenges for everyone."
 

Motta has been playing for the Italian U-21 squad for awhile now and many critics are rallying for Marcelo Lippi to include the youngster in his squad for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
