Ranieri: Luca Toni Will Play Against Chievo
Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has given Luca Toni the nod, confirming he will start against Chievo on Saturday afternoon.

Toni will make his first Serie A start for the club after coming on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw against Cagliari on Wednesday. The Tinkerman is expecting a response from his side as they attempt to get back on track.

"Toni will play against Chievo, but he still doesn't have the 90 minutes in his legs," the coach told the press.

"I have seen him in good stead though. He has different qualities compared to the rest and we have to exploit that."

Ranieri has urged concentration from his troops, believing a lack of focus is what led to the slip in Cagliari, as he underlines the pit falls that face his team tomorrow.

"If we had stayed focused then we would not have conceded two goals," he added.

"In any case we have to analyse everything. The team is alive and strong and we play a tight Chievo side who can hurt us on the break. It will be a difficult game."
