Roma striker Luca Toni is in a rush to get himself fit enough to play against AC Milan this weekend.
The World Cup winner has been out injured for over a month and has only played in four games for Roma since his arrival from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
Speaking to Corriere Dello Sport, Toni is confident that he can win over the Roma fans who have not seen the best of the Italian due to his injury layoff.
He said: "The fans keep on asking me to score. All I can do is hope to,
"Currently, I am working hard to find my form and fitness. My aim is to play a great match on Saturday, and I hope the team can do the same as well.
"I am feeling good, and will join my team-mates for a proper training session in the coming days,"
Roma need a win against Milan on Saturday to keep the pressure on league leaders Inter Milan who will take on Genoa on Sunday.
