Pep Guardiola was given his marching orders during Barcelona’s 2-2 draw against Almeria, and didn’t know why he was sent off.
Speaking to Marca after the game, Guardiola said, "Ask the referee why."
"It was an entertaining game. We created chances, and I should congratulate the team because they never gave up.
"At times when you have ten men, the opponent tries to go for the win. In general, we found it difficult to play against a well organized and motivated team.
"They had chances with Piatti and Crusat.
"I am not unhappy."
Guardiola then took time to speak about the game, saying: "We always try to win, but this was a match we could have lost also."
"We were 2-1 down with ten men, and the team responded. We moved the ball around well.
"There are still many games left."
Finally, when quizzed about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's red card, Guardiola said: "I did not see it."
